Video of Give them a Chance
This project was to find a painting from the Renaissance (Agnus Dei, is a Baroque painting), and we had to re-create that as a modern idea. This was made in a pair of two, the graphic artist and the video editor. The original painting video was about the history of the painting, who the artist was, and what is in the painting. We had to have a conversation about both. The layout was made in Indesign. The re-created video was about the idea we chose to do, in the video has to be the background of the subject. Then, one of us wrote the 100 word summary and the other did the works cited. The idea had to prove a point, and not just a random idea with no purpose.
My experience in this project gave me a lot of thought on finding the history of paintings. Also, modernizing the old painting was very interesting to do, to find something that is somewhat similar to the original. I got use to Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. As the graphic artist, I spent time making the art piece at school and at home. I was also responsible for the Indesign layout. When finding the history of the original painting, I got the hang of deep researching. I had to write the 100 word summary and my partner did the works cited.
