Alonso Nunez and Patrick Yurick founded Little Fish Comic Book Studio in 2012. Little Fish is a non-profit corporation dedicated to educate students on developing and strengthening their skills in comic art. They hold classes and camps for students of all ages. The place is called Little Fish Comic Book Studio because of a book called Swimmy by Leo Leonni. The story is about a "little fish" that influences the other little fish to join forces and scare the bigger fish. Little Fish Comic Book Studio believes that working and inspiring each other can help individuals accomplish and pursue their dreams to create and publish comics. Their goal is to "educate students using the standards of a traditional art school and the comic book industry with the passion and the openness of a relaxed studio environment."
